There will be a New Moon in Purva Bhadrapada nakshatra on Sunday March 10.  Purva Bhadrapada means front lucky feet of a funeral bed and is symbolized by a funeral cot. It gives us the feeling that life is temporary.  Its shakti is the power to elevate consciousness or spiritual awareness. Its desire is to gain radiance and splendor of spiritual knowledge. It is ruled by Jupiter (Brihaspati), the teacher of the gods. 

This New Moon is an excellent time to reflect on the impermanence of life and to increase your meditation practice. Become aware of your attachments and let go of the ones that no longer serve you. It’s time for a material, mental, and spiritual spring cleaning! Letting go of material and non-material clutter will align you with natural forces make space for new energy to raise your vibration.
