Diwali Celebration - Lakshmi Offering & Kirtan

Diwali is celebrated over multiple days with sadhana and puja focused on letting go of the past and looking forward to ushering in the Light of the upcoming New Year. It is a time of renewal and rededication to the cultivating and strengthening of this Divine light both within ourselves as well as outside ourselves empowering and enlightening the community and world around us. Diwali is also a time to honor Lakshmi to invoke her Blessings for an abundant year ahead. It is believed Lakshmi roams the earth on Diwali so to invite her into your home you thoroughly clean your space, decorate the sidewalks leading into your home with rangoli (beautiful drawings), and light diya lamps or candles so she will enter!
