Maha Shivaratri (the great night of Shiva) is an annual festival dedicated to Lord Shiva - a manifestation of the consciousness of Infinite Goodness. It has been said that this is a very highly energetically charged night where one can benefit greatly from spiritual practices such as chanting, puja, contemplation, kirtan and more. Many spiritual aspirants stay up all night as this auspicious time comes but once a year!
