New Moon: Align with your highest good

There will be a New Moon in Punarvasu nakshatra on Friday, July 5.  Punarvasu means ‘good again’ or ‘prosperous again’ and is symbolized by a quiver of magical arrows. They are magical because after they hit their target they return to the archer. Its shakti is the power of wealth and abundance and its desire is to produce herbs and trees. It is ruled over by Aditi, the mother-Goddess who is the mother of the gods.

This New Moon is about freedom (July 4th!), expansion, and unboundedness. There can be a sense that there’s a return from an adventure, a return to well-being, and a renewing influence is present. Activities related to philosophy, virtue, and truth are highlighted.

This next month is a good time to think about your finances and how you can improve your material affairs. Align yourself with your highest good and don’t be concerned if your tasks look daunting. Even small steps towards a purposeful goal can bring positive results. Stay present and focus on listening actively rather than speaking too much.
